Ferndale’s ONE Credit Union Elects Guadalupe Lara as Board Chair
Ferndale-based Credit Union ONE announced the election of Guadalupe Lara as chair of the board.
Since joining Credit Union ONE’s Board of Directors, Lara has served on several committees, including the Compensation Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee, where she led the CEO’s performance evaluation processes. management and board self-assessment.
“I am deeply honored to have been elected Chair of the Board of Directors and look forward to working with my colleagues to continue the great work we do serving our members and the community,” said Lara. “I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their confidence in me, and I especially thank Paul Stuart for his years of leadership and service. Lara is the former director of social work at Detroit Medical Center, where she spent 27 years advocating for families at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She is a motivational speaker who has been recognized for her work on inclusion and conflict management in the workplace by over 47 organizations.
